Zapier doesn't Trigger Knack Rules or Emails

We use Zapier for a significant portion of our workflow. This works great to automatically update a record and saves us significant time. However, a major issue we are encountering is that when Zapier completes these record updates automatically, Knack features such as Rules and Emails are not triggered. Knack Rules and Emails seem to only be triggered when a user manually inputs an update.

Anyone have any ideas for work arounds?

I think the answer here is that you need to build the equivalent process into your Zap or, preferably, Integromat/Make scenario (much more powerful).

Your suggestion is bang on. This logic hadn’t dawned on me, thank you for prompting it! The specific issue in our application has been solved.
