It would be great if we could apply preset filters to a table, but then lock those filters in place. In matching an old database (offline), I set up 3 table views on one page that show different groupings of our records (so, 3 different preset filters), and I'd like to keep it that way. As it stands, if a user changes these filters (which is too easy to do!), it messes the setup up for everyone else, until I go back and fix it (remember, not everyone is smart enough to deal with this themselves).
The best way to handle this would be to change the filter options, so that the "Show all records" yes/no option is also available under "Don't allow records to be filtered," which should perhaps be changed to "Don't allow records to be filtered by user."
