Knack Navigator - new free tool to assist you as a builder

Thanks! Glad it’s useful.

Hi @ivan - Loving the new email search feature :heart: - Is it possible to search for a specific email address and it show you all the places it appears across the different email sections, Form Submit, Inline Edit, Action Link or Tasks.

@ivan
This is great. Can’t wait to see what you do next with KTL.

I’m glad I didn’t see this last night or I would have used it instead of experimenting with python.

I created two scripts. One that grabs all Scene, View, and Field IDs from your JS (in your ide) and writes them to a .csv file. Then the second uses this same public api and grabs all the same from the current version of your app and gives you a report of what’s been orphaned.

I probably would have just gone id by id in your tool rather than create those scripts if I had seen it before I started. I started down that road with https://knack-explorer.austinmobility.io/ but their UI/UX isn’t quite as user friendly as yours.

Thanks for sharing!

Great, thanks for the feedback!

Orphaned view identification is coming soon to the navigator.

Feel free to use what I (well, really Gemini and I ) came up with if it helps you. I pushed both the Python Scripts and a Chrome extension to a public Github repo.
Forum topic here:

Thank you for making this! I find it more intuitive than the other options I’ve tried such as https://knack-explorer.austinmobility.io/ or the no longer available Knack Redirect Page - Knack: No-Code Application Development Platform

Great job!

Thanks, Spencer!

I highly encourage everyone to make feature requests. You can post them here or use the link in the app.
