How to: purchase form triggering user creation + email?

Hi,

I'm overall very new to Knack (purchased around 9/2015). I'm wondering if there is a way to create a form that will allow a site visitor to make a monetary transaction that will allow them to also designate a username and password for the database, and that will automatically send an email to them notifying them of their new username and password, as well as send an email to me as the database manager?

Is this possible? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

It should be possible to do this using the new e-commerce functions recently added to Knack (see here). I think you will potentially have to do this as a two-step process though which will enable the user account to be created first. You also need to remember that the password field is a special/encrypted field and it is not possible to view this in plain text.
