It would be very helpful to be able to copy a table and the data it contains, not just the table structure. I have a couple of uses for this, including testing new processes and providing set-up for student records in a new academic year. I know that doesn't apply to all, but there may be other uses as well.

I haven't run into those kinds of problems, although you have to be careful as sometimes the fields need to be manually adjusted/tweaked when importing...

Thanks, Mark. That would be a solution if the data export/import process didn't have very variable results. As it is, sometimes fields are populated and other times they are not, with very little rhyme or reason. Additionally, any Connection fields are even more problematic.

Yes, there are times you might want to make a new table with the data. You can achieve this effect by exporting the data from the original table and then importing it into the newly copied table.
