System Tables

Brand new here and trying to get up to speed. I created an app from a prompt and AI did a pretty good job designing and creating the necessary tables, pages, etc. However, it makes use of a table named Clients that is not displayed in my Builder interface. It contains what appear to be app specific fields but I’m wondering if it’s some sort of built-in system table. If that’s the case, how can I find documentation on ALL system tables. If that’s NOT the case, why isn’t it showing in Builder? This is a Next-gen environment.

Sounds like you may be referring to a “Client” user role rather than a data table?

Does it look like the below with these predefined fields?

Asked and answered (I think). I used the City of Austin’s very helpful Knack Explorer app and it exposed the following objects in my recently generated app:

Only Projects, Tasks, Time Entries and Invoices appear in my Builder UI. But there’s Clients and a few other items, too! And the Clients table is populated with sample data which is consistent with the nature of the app. Knack Explorer can also list all the fields in each of the objects - I’m now a big fan of Explorer! Find it HERE.
