Speed Issue

I have a client table with over 13,000 records. I have five tables connected to the main table. The connection to the client table is the Client ID. The forms to add a new record to these table is extremely slow. I have added filters to the client ID in the data entry forms to limit the records available to select in the Client ID field, however, the forms continue to be very slow. Up to 10 seconds to load.

Is there any other way to optimize Knack so that data entry forms load more quickly? This issue is really making it difficult for the client to work efficiently in the database.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Hi @Janice,

As Carl shared, it’s likely the form issue you’re experiencing is due to the issue shared at status.knack.com.

Once we’ve resolved the issue, we’ll update the status page note. Please let our support team know if you have any further issues afterward.

Thank you for your patience and welcome to the Knack community

I’m experiencing the same problem. Form submissions are hanging up and sometimes you have to refresh the page to get it to process. I am experiencing this across all of my Apps. Clients are complaining regularly and are threatening to find a new platform with better performance. I have submitted a Tech Support Ticket.

We have exactly the same problem described by Steven. It started last Thursday. We have already reported it. As correctly indicated here, you submit (which takes time) and then immediately refresh, you will see that the action is completed. It seems that the delay is during the response that has completed the action.
