Is there a way to get a read receipt when someone opens an email sent from the built-in Knack email function/ send a custom email trigger?
Not a native Knack feature. Even if you used Outlook or Gmail via Make there is no way to enforce a read receipt as the recipient can decline.
Got it. What if we want to use Make to listen to our emails on Gmail, and if it’s from a client’s email address, it will add it as a connected object to their record on Knack? In other words, an email history from that client on Knack. Is this easy to set up?
Should be possible to do it that way, but I wouldn’t be able to comment on the difficulty level of it and I’ll leave it to our Make superstars.
Is there a better or easier way?
