Hi all,
I have searched the forum and couldn’t find an answer so it is probably not possible but I thought I would ask anyway!
Is there anyway I can send emails to a database, I need to extract data out of a lot of emails and would like the ability to import them into Knack so that I can fill a table out with the relevant information.
Thank you
Chris

Hi @chris.belcher
I’m sure with the right code it would be possible to send an email into a Knack table. No idea how this would be done though
As a possible no code solution, I’d send the emails to either a Gmail or Outlook account and use Make to watch for the email arriving so you can then map the fields into your Knack table.
If you use the “watch email” module for Gmail you’ll need to either have a paid “Google Workspace” account, formerly G-Suite or setup a custom OAuth.
https://www.make.com/en/help/app/gmail#watch-emails-975546
Note:
“If you want to connect an email that ends with @gmail or @googlemail , you must create a custom OAuth client in Google Cloud Console and get your project client credentials to establish the connection in Make.”
I appreciate the below video is when Make used to be Integromat but the process for creating the OAuth is the same. If you have a paid Gmail account then this process is not required.

Additional - this isn’t a process I’ve undertaken personally. It’s a little outside my lane, but I can highly recommend @andyoneil of Weblytica if you’re interested in exploring the Make route.

Thank you @CarlHolmes for the mention!
Yes, this is possible with Make.com. You can send data to a mail hook and parse the data from there and add it to Knack.

Of course….a mailhook ……I knew that but didn’t remember Thanks @andyoneil
@chris.belcher - although not a video specifically about your use case it does show you how to setup a mailhook.
I can highly recommend Andy if you want some excellent help and support
