My client shared her application with me and I developed inserts in Knack tables in JavaScript. Everything was working fine until this morning. In the console, I get a 403 Forbidden error. Have you had this problem? Do you have any idea what might be causing it?
The problem is solved. My user was no longer logged in, even though my page indicated that I was logged in, despite the fact that I had deleted my cookies and cleared my history and restarted my computer. It’s very strange, but when I log back in, everything works.
Yeah, well, I cant see my JS or CSS as of this evening. Was visible before. We had this issue (where css and JS was functional in the apps but not visible in the developer) back when AWS went down and services were unavailable around the world (blue screens of death at airports etc). I can only surmise this is an issue with knack and AWS server connections since knack decided to host the code outside of an internal system. We are only as good as our weakest link. Why when I seen this happen before, I feared the onset of a repeat….and here we are. Well, no coding for me tonight I guess.
@Kara Can you look into this?

Hi there -
We are not seeing issues on our end with AWS or custom code being unavailable. If you are having issues still, please log a ticket with Support, and we can dig into this, @Daniel8 .
Thanks,
Kara
@NancyM Can I ask if your client’s app is on a custom domain or if it is embedded?
Custom
Its working again today. I know it wasnt any cache issue and tried on several browsers and two diff pc’s. I am good now though, thanks.
We would like to work with you to try to replicate this issue. If you have a few minutes, could you book time with me here?
Thanks,
Kara
Hi Kara,
I had a lot of problems with my MacBook that day, but since there was nothing wrong on your end, I think the problem is with my equipment. If you still want to talk, I can make an appointment for next week.
