Can someone point me in the direction of a good place to start for an appointment schema pls? Nothing out of the ordinary required here - 5 slots per day with the same times per slot every day. Users can pick a day and one of the slots. Then I need to determine and display available slots per day, etc.

I have done similar things before (in Knack) - the most complex being a system for booking Covid Tests (very complex). Reach out if you would like to discuss with me?
Another suggestion might be to use a service like Calendly to book appointments (perhaps integrating it with your database)?
I use this on my website and include a link in my emails for people to book Zoom meetings with me - and it works very well.
