Temporary fields in a form

Hi,

One thing that I've found myself doing is sometimes adding fields to an object just so I can get someone to enter some temporary input. For example, I have wanted a connected record to be inserted, but I need to collect input about that connected record, so I add fields to the parent record to collect the input and then assign it to the connected record when submitting. If we could create temporary fields that we can reference in the Submit Rules functionality, then all kinds of use cases because easy, instead of having to do awkward work arounds.

This is just going to be too difficult to implement correctly for us to consider. Adding database fields at least gives you options to work with.
