Bit left field. We have decided to change our IT support provider, and it occurred to me that this intrepid group of clever tech people may include a few IT peeps, and having Knack skills adds to the value prop…
We are very small business (4 people) using MS365 business. No onsite server (at this time). We have a UniFi UDM Pro with some cameras.
We deploy technology that every once in a while requires some network configuration that is a little higher than our in house skills.
We run a huge amount of our business through our Knack app (not asking for Knack support at this time, but just sharing).
If you are in Sydney, Australia, and provide MS licence and IT support, and interested in helping us, please email me guy@lifttech.com.au
I have gone through your post and this setup is something we see quite often with small teams using Microsoft 365 and UniFi gear. For a business your size the key is having an IT partner who understands cloud based environments and can jump in only when deeper network or security changes are needed. Things like UniFi UDM Pro, configuration camera access, remote work setup and Microsoft 365 licence management usually need experience rather than trial and error. If you are still exploring options in Australia you may want to speak with TECHOM Systems. They work with small businesses that do not have in-house IT and focus on practical support rather than overcomplicating things. From MS365 licensing to network support they tend to fit well for teams that want reliability without enterprise level overheads.
