Our Knack site is not loading. Or, loading extremely slow. All other platforms are working per usual. Is anyone else experiencing load issues? Is it due to AWS?
Hi Mark, we are experiencing slowness - we’ve updated our status page here where you can get updates. https://status.knack.com/incidents/4rrlz80dss96.
Hi @Mark13
The issues are caused by an upstream provider which you can follow on their page https://health.aws.amazon.com/health/status
We are keeping our status page updated here: https://status.knack.com/
Thanks,
Kara
I’m the EU (UK) and can’t get into the builder or any client apps. I’ve raised it with Knack.
Hopefully it will be resolved soon.
It is a known issue related to AWS.
Same thing down here in Australia -
Cant get into apps and been having issues with images stored and referenced
UK here - still in on a non-refreshed PC to the builder on 1 app, and its working - tasks and api’s are still performing OK … cant get into the front end though … Knack aware europe and UK are having issues.
they only appear to mention the US though in that page?
It made the BBC news feed
- Knack is just one of many affected. Hopefully the engineers at AWS can get it fixed soon ![]()
The same outage exists here on the west coast of the USA!
Ok Uk back in … front and back ends
Not for me, I’m in the UK and can’t login to the builder
- hopefully it will be back on Tuesday
I’m ok in Scotland, most of customers uk wide are back in but some not as yet.
Regards,
Andrew Steele.
I was just able to log back in (I’m on the West coast too @BajaRic ). We also updated our status page to reflect it’s not just the US.
Pacific Northwest (USA) is back up!
Just logged into the builder
- good to know it’s recovering quickly. ![]()
Time for bed now

Australian site & builder back up thank goodness - in tme for work day about to start
So the problems on Amazon were fixed by 9 or 10 am PST, but the outages continued well into mid afternoon. From what I understand it’s due to a lack of redundancy in the programming that made it hard for services like knack to recover quickly. What is knack doing to mitigate the effects of such an outage in the future?
Is there a plan to build in redundancy where our workloads can be failed over from a region that may be affected such as US-East to US-West.?
Our company is still unable to access our app. Not much response from the support team.
