"Parking Lot" in Calendar

Is there any way to add a column off to the side of a calendar where events can be dragged or populated to use as a “parking lot” until they are scheduled? Currently we are just using Sundays but this is not ideal for a few reasons so wondering if there would be any way to add in some sort of holding area that is still tied to the calendar in some way.
