- I think it would make sense to have a map pin for the location that a user searches in a map view. Users typically search at/near their own location, but if they can’t see where that is on the map, it’s harder to make sense a mapped results.
2) I’d really like to see a unified map search. Currently, my users first have to search the map by Location. And then separately they have to filter according to data fields (language, category). Basically they have to do 2 searches for one outcome.
It would be much nicer if there was an option to map search all parameters at once. I’ve been building a workaround that manipulates the URL query strings, but as an amateur coder, I’m not confident that it’s a reliable solution.
