Dates and calculations are a wee bit messy. There are workarounds but not found this one.
Counting half day leave.
Worker who works 8 hours a day has 14 days a year of leave. If they are full days then we can calculate and calendar but how do we track half days 4 hours?
Just a thought - there are 270 working days in a year. Could you sum up the hours worked and see if they are (270-14)*2048 270 was a “given” during my days in Payroll… might be more or less. Might be an angle to experiment on, and would vary based on the holidays you observe.
