Issues with Rich Text Fields in Classic App

I would like to report an issue with Rich Text fields in the (front end) Classic app. I have encountered two main problems:

  1. When selecting multiple words and pressing the delete key, only the first letter is removed.

  2. When trying to highlight a selected word in yellow, it does not work because the HTML tag is inserted incorrectly.

This is quite annoying. Did I miss any information regarding this behavior?

For reference, I am using Windows 11 and the Opera browser.

Without “trash talking” the HTML editor in Classic has always left a lot of room for improvement. I’ve not checked but I believe Next Gen is using a more modern implementation. It may still be worth reporting this issue to support to see if they can assist. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Yes, but I don’t think it was as problematic a few months ago. These steps used to work, if I remember correctly.

I mailed the support, we ‘ll see

For the update, support replied promptly.

The issue comes from Opera, their last update causes this behavior.
