Irregular error when using Make to map values to multiple choice fields

Hi All,

I have a sporadic error when using Make to map a value to a multiple choice field. In this instance it is duplicating a record, so taking the value from field_134 of record A and mapping it to field_134 of record B (which it is creating).

The mapping looks like this (and I have tried the raw value as well):

and the subsequent error looks like this:

It occurs in perhaps 1 in 50 records, but there doesnt seem to be any pattern (e.g. values with special characters). I have come accross this in at leat 3 different client apps, so it isn’t specific to this one.

Has anyone come accross this / have any suggestions of why it is happenning? I’m getting embarassed about having to tell clients ‘it’s just one of those things’!

I’m assuming you’ve already eliminated the fact that the spellings are exactly the same? I had this with a client last week with they were copying values of a multichoice field into a table with another multichoice field with the same values but they had upper and lowercase differences.

any spelling discrepancy shouldn’t be possble though as they are mapping between the same set of options (field_134 to field_134).
