I would like the “Link to another page” to be more advanced, currently I cannot use it to view more details of a connected record and the “Link to view more details” doesnt allow that either, also it would be good to add url variables from the record/connected record so the link could be www.test.com with variable 1 of type={###} and url variable 2 of id={###} and you can add, edit and re-order the variables then when clicked it would replace the variable with the record values.

It was to open a view not add a new record, hence the ability to use variables would allow that but you added the option in the UI to link to other objects so it can be done now.

One option is to simply use "Add View" on the "link to view more details" page to add details for whatever connected records you want.
