Action Links: allow 'field value' or 'record value' option when setting a field's value

I’d like the option to select ‘field value’ in the action links menu, instead of only custom value or connected value. This is currently available with rules in forms, but is not available in action links. This severely limits the workflow you can set up with action links.

For example, a really common scenario would be to update connected records using any of the record’s field values.

It would be nice to have the option to copy a "form field" value. Like a table value or view..

This would be great. Ideally action links could be as flexible as tasks (which already have the option to set values equal to fields).
