Using external data/API

Hi all,

Ive seen multiple threads explaining how to do this the other way around ie. from knack to another source but does anyone know how to add data into a form in knack from an external API?

I'm trying to design a vehicle lookup form with an external API but cant find anywhere that explains how to intergrate this.

Its a bit like an address lookup where you enter the zip code/postcode and submit and it pre populates the rest of the address.

Can anyone help please? I already have the API feed but no idea how to link it up.

I have just played around with it but it is pretty easy to implement
