Curious how people handle making changes and do development on their app without any downtime?
I use a developer role and hide any new sections whilst building.
I also often duplicate a view and build it out hidden with page rules before switching the rule around and making the section visible.
If, however, I’m making changes to a critical live section I normally either build it out of hours or liaise with the client and lock the page out with the user role while I make the change.
Mostly critical updates are done out of hours, normally weekends.

I have a copy of my application with reduced data in which I do tests. When it’s ready I use the rules function of the view as Carl with my email as display criteria
