It would be extremely helpful if you could add a record count next to each table. This would eliminate having to click on each one of the tables to see how many records in each table.
I don’t imagine this would be very hard for the team to achieve. Why do you need to know the total number of records per object though. 
Displaying the total number of records in the table identifies whether that tables being used consistently or not. I have multiple applications and I always check to see what features I build get used and which ones don’t.
