Has anyone come up with a way to implement non-email logins? Creating "fake" email addresses is really not a good solution. I would consider using a 3rd party API if one is available.

Agreed! It would be ideal to use the email unique text that you can set for each email field as a login. It's already built in and it is unique by design.
We too want to know if we can create a login that isn't as cumbersome for our staff to enter as their entire email address?
it would be nice to link a unique 5 digit number or just the staff person's 1st name to their email address. A shorter login would help streamline our workflow & encourage our staff to enter data in realtime rather than waiting a bit when they are less busy.
