Load filtered data on Search views after selecting value from single drop-down without having to press the Search button

When the Search input is a single, dropdown selection field, pressing the Search button after selecting the dropdown value is superfluous. Can the data be retrieved and displayed in this situation after making the drop-down selection without having to press the Search button? Thank you.
