KTL Record History Not Tracking Record Creation or Deletion

Hi all,

I recently added KTL to an app I’m building after I saw the post by @NormandDefayette_CortexRD about KTLs front end record history, but after testing have hit a brick wall.

I followed the instructions on the KTL Github and successfully got record edits to add to the KTL Record History table.

As the post title says though, despite adding the _arh keyword to the description of a form, new record creation isn’t being added to the Record History table. Equally, a grid with a “Delete Record” action available doesn’t track deletions.

In my experience, when things like this occur it’s usually because I’ve done something wrong, but having deleted everything and gone through the set up process twice, I’m getting the same problem, so I’m at a loss as to exactly what I’ve broken!

Any help in fixing this will be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Adam4 - not sure if this will help. I don’t use the record history extensively, so I can’t give you a written fix. If this doesn’t help then I’d suggest raising an issue on the KTL GitHub.

Thanks for the reply. I did actually watch your video while originally setting everything up to double check I’d followed the Github instructions correctly, but sadly it didn’t change anything.

A Github issue will be my next port of call, but I wanted to try eliminate this being a PEBCAK issue first!
