I would like to create the following record number:
- This year: 21001, 21002, 21003, …
- Next Year: 21001, 21002, 21003, …
What’s the most efficient way to achieve it with knack without having to create a new column for every year.

It’s possible by using 2 objects. But each year we need to delete 1 record from the connected object and add a new record.
you can either delete records from the last image and add one more.
Other add task in object (AutoIncSet) which run on every year once to mark connected column blank
