Using the view API is fairly labour intensive at present. The only way to identify data is by a laborious process of noting down urls and squinting at dev tools in the browser.
I wonder if there is a way to allow the ID of a object field or component to be set by the user? or a script to append the user-supplied label to an attribute in the HTML?
Otherwise, a way to temporarily display the required IDs in the browser to make the developers life easier ('switch on dev mode')
