Behavior for 'X'

In field options, it's tempting to click on the x in the upper right corner to close the options box (expected windows behavior). But this x means 'delete the field'. Fortunately there is a warning, but it would be less risky and more intuitive to use X to close the box and add a 'Delete this field' link inside the field options.
