# Zapier Action: Update Rrcord

Zapier has had the ability to search and update existing records in other apps like Google Sheets, Airtable etc. for a while now. It would be great to see the ability to update an existing Knack record via Zapier action enabled.

This would also need a search Action as well - to locate the record you need to update.

With this added, Zapier would be a fantastic tool for automating Knack itself - without needing to delve into Javascript!

I agree. This would be great. The more SAAS that pops up, the more valuable this feature becomes. I can think of multiple use cases in my own circumstances!
