# Table headers need to be locked

This has been an on-going issue for 8 years from what I can see and the topics closed when no resolution was forthcoming.

**A table display needs to have the table headers row locked in position !!!**

There have been some work arounds but they dont always work if others CSS or Max Width is used.  
To me this is a major fault.

Table headers should be fixed in place, not overwritten by data as you scroll through. What gives KNACK - cant it be done ?

If so tell us it can’'t be done or please prioritise remedying this.
