# Role assignment of Views and Menus

It would be extremely useful to be able to show / hide menu tabs / buttons based on the user role.

  

Right now, lets say you have an employee role, and a manager role for a retail store... you have to create 2 separate (very similar) pages for each role to simply add a tab to a menu with manager specific info.

  
  

If you could simply have 1 page with role specific access to a menu item, you could only have to create 1 page instead of 2.

  
  

Along those same lines, it would be awesome if you could have role specific views as well...
