# Question about connected fields

Hi, I am transitioning from Quickbase and trying to figure out if there is a way to pull in a field from the connected table. Particularly, I have tables “Accounts”, “Contacts” and “Opportunities”. Accounts and contacts are related where one account may have multiple contacts. Now in the opportunities, I would like to pull a related account and one of the account’s related contacts. I cannot quite figure out how to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you looking at only displaying it on tables on the front end?

I am looking to use them in forms. When I add an opportunity it is related to an account which in turn is related to contact.

I want to pull the list of contacts related to the account.

Hi Sam  
So I am assuming your connections are like this:  
“Opportunities” object has a connection field for “Accounts” and also “Contacts”  
“Contacts” object has a connection field to “Accounts”

When you add your Form view to create a new Opportunity, you’ll have a drop-down field on there for “Account” and “Contact”…

If you look at the Input Properties of the Contact field, you should see the setting “Show” near the bottom. You can select to Show “Contacts connected to this form’s Account”

I think this will do what you need…
