Hi all

I've created an app that lets people record the details of mature trees that have been removed. To help tell the story in a visual way it asks users to copy and paste the embed code from StreetView which then embeds that view. I've used extractRegex to extract the latitude and longitude from the embed code and save them into text formula fields.

Now I'm hoping to be able to combine these two to populate an address field which will then power the map view.

I've tried:

1. Using Record Rules

2. Using Conditional Rules

3. Using Conditional Rules to populate number fields (to change the data type from string to number) and then tried using these number fields using steps 1 and 2.

I have a feeling this needs to be done with an API. Can anyone help me out with some code for this?

Alternativey, if there is another no-code way to do it I'd be keen to hear about it.

Failing both of these, I'll see if I can pull it off with Integromat.

Thanks

Chris

Sorry, I don’t have a solution …

I have been wanting to find a solution to extract the lat/long from an address field. What was the formula you used to do this?

API and whatnot is a bit beyond me tight now.

Thanks,

Reza
