# Inline Editing without need for pop up and confirm button

It would be so much quicker if we could turn of the need for clicking a field, updating the pop up window, then clicking submit to just edit the field on the table.

I was able to do this, but with some serious javascript/jquery and use of Knack's API. The fact that it's possible, though, makes me think this really should be doable for Knack.

This would revolutionize my app and make it usable. The individual popup and submit is a huge drag and is SLOW.

Yes please, for editing a lot of cells this is a must have feature (this is something I miss from Caspio where this works that way)

Having the popup does create a bit of "safety," &nbsp;but in many cases your suggestion would be GREAT! &nbsp;
