Setup:
I’m trying to dynamically calculate a User’s remaining balance based on their coverage amount minus the total approved costs from applications they’ve submitted.
The Problem:
The Balance Remaining field in the User object isn’t updating correctly.
Even though I’ve submitted multiple Application records with different Approved Program Cost values, the sum doesn’t reflect the total, and the balance either stays fixed.
What I Want:
For the Balance Remaining to reflect the live total across all applications for that user, so it decreases with each approved cost of the same application type (Ex. You apply for two different things in the dental program your max coverage is 1500 the first is $100 so balance gets set to $1400 then when you apply for the other program like $250 for example it should go to $1150). My issue is that the balance doesn’t dynamically update it
Any ideas how to get the equation to update properly?
