I have a orders page which shows equipment cost. How can I make this total or sum $$$ amount show the amount and be a link that would allow the user to edit the equipment that makes up the displayed dollar amount.

Are you referring to connection links?

I want the value displayed with a hyperlink to another page (edit page). In your example below the user would click on the $10,000 from first row and it would pull up the edit page for the details where that 10,000 came from.

Is this what you are trying to do. The table has an edit link, just change it from a text to value link and select your total. It will then link to the edit page.
