# Filtering with dropdowns

I'd like to be able to search for records by selecting field values from a drop down list  
As an example, my user would use a drop down to select a model and another to select a voltage and only the matching records would display.  
Is this sort of "filter" by drop down values available?

Use a Search table&nbsp;

&nbsp;

and then select what filters you required&nbsp;

Hi, I’m trying to do this now but it looks like the images uploaded to Sunny’s response are not loading. My use case is that I’m trying to product commission reports for my sales reps and I’d like them to be able to use a drop down or an field input to select the pay date and then have all the table below display all commission paid to them on that date. I’d also like them to have to option to search the same by customer. Any thoughts on how I might be able to do this with today’s Knack capabilities?

Hello John,

It’s a very old image so maybe knack removed it and I didn’t remember but I think we just need to use a search table instead of Simple table
