# API posts to Knack not triggering webhook for zapier integration

My Knack DB is now interconnected with a variety of other apps.&nbsp; Now some of my new Client training session records are posted to Knack via the API.&nbsp; However this "New Record" is not a triggering event for integration apps like Zapier because only front end (user view) Knack updates or new records will trigger the API.&nbsp;&nbsp;

I need record updates or new records via the API to be triggering for Zapier in order to run vital business functions.&nbsp;&nbsp;
